For sale by Fantasy Junction in August 2008 for $129,500. Described as:

This particular car is a wonderful example that has (June-July 2008) seen a very comprehensive carbs-off 30k major service at Rod Drew`s Francorchamps America Incorporated (FAI) in Southern California. The total cost was $20,078.34. The cams were degree'd, the valves set, the chain adjusted, and all six Weber carbs rebuilt. Both distributors were rebuilt, the belts, spark plugs and battery replaced, and new hood shocks fitted. New rear self-leveling Koni shocks were installed, and the radiator recored as well. The cam covers and air cleaners were stripped and re-wrinkle-finished, and the engine compartment fully detailed. The paint was color sanded and buffed, and the front seats reupholstered with new high quality leather.

The car enjoys very-well documented history, and has covered just 25,000 miles from new. The car has known history from new, with records back to the 1980`s. Its history is as follows:

s/n 14835. Identified as USA model 365 GTC/4. Assembly sequence no. 101, body no. 86. Destinazione: Harrah's Modern Classic Motors, Reno, Nevada. (H. Raab "Ferrari Serial Numbers Part I, 2nd ed"). December 1971 build date.

Later painted black. 1973, Robert Laing over-revved the engine and took it apart for a rebuild. It sat apart for over a dozen years until sold in 1986.

1986, 01 Nov., sold through Monte Shelton for Robert Laing to Richard R. Cole, Santa Maria, CA. Engine and trans apart for rebuild.

Richard Cole rebuilt the very low mileage engine, new rings, new valves, and rebuilt the transmission. Car repainted Rosso Corsa. Listed in the FOCUSA Roster by Richard R. Cole, Santa Maria, CA.

Sold to Skeets Dunn.

1993, 11 Nov.,sold on consignment thru European Auto, Costa Mesa, CA to new onwer, Los Angeles, CA. 512 BB s/n 28233 taken in even trade, both valued at $65,000.

1993, Nov., engine removed for major service, full engine out detail, new ignition points, new oil lines, new oil temp sending unit, new timing chain installed, update timing chain tensioner, rebuild starter motor, heater control cables, windshield washer pump. New motor mounts. Mileage 24,405 miles.

2002, 19 Oct., serviced by Alfa Italia, Burbank, CA. Service and rebuild carburetors, $2,139.11 Mileage 24,904.

2004, 10 Dec., serviced by Alfa Italia, Burbank, Ca. Free brakes from sitting. Rebuild calipers. All new caliper kits, new brake pads, new brake hoses.. New soft lines. $2,746.67. Mileage 24,922.

The car sat for several more years until its recently completed comprehensive service, ensuring that the car is now a low mileage ready-to-enjoy example. The paint was also color sanded and is presently excellent, and the overall cosmetic condition is excellent as well. The paint is in excellent condition, with only a handful of small blemishes. None of them is significant enough to detract from the overall excellent impression made by the car, and its excellent gaps and panel fit also contribute to its strong visual impression. The trim and metal work are in fine shape as well, and glass is very fine throughout. The wheels and tires are in excellent shape, with the fitment of the more attractive European type eared spinners.

The interior is also extremely nice. The new leather on the front seats is of course excellent, and the remaining upholstery is original but very well preserved. The correct mouse fur dashboard is excellent, as are the carpets, and the overall feel is that of a well cared for low mileage car that was carefully stored and used sparingly.

The trunk is also original, and still very presentable. The carpet is fraying near a couple of edges, but is on the whole very good, being nowhere near needing replacement. The tool suitcase with tools is present with the car, as is the correct spare wheel. The engine compartment was recently detailed and is superb. There are a handful of components that were not refinished, but the overall impression is great.

This is a very rare opportunity to acquire a 25,000 mile C4. With its power steering and superior visibility, many owners prefer to drive C4`s to Daytonas, while the side draft carburetors provide a unique sound that many argue is one of the all time great Ferrari street car exhaust notes. Available at less than half the price, the C4 is certainly more than half the car that the Daytona is, and this particular example, with its excellent cosmetics and recent comprehensive mechanical going over, is a great find and ready to enjoy with great peace of mind.
